The town was curious what was happening. Suddenly the government building was quiet. There were no parchments leaving the gates and the guards had already gone a month without pay since King Fenrir had disappeared. Upon investigation by several journalist and towns people alike discovered that the Regent had gone missing. There were no words of when and how the guards would receive their next pay. As such the guards slowly started to abandon their posts.. The guards towers slowly started to become derelict with and filled with dust and cobwebs.
No one knew what to expect other than the city was falling apart and Queen Astra already had her hands full raising two small children. This was surely seen a disaster as the citizens resulted in unrest and crime was on the rise; However the inn was more profitable than ever doubling the sale of ales, and liquors in the past months.
