Father.

He shifted his hips from side to side slowly rocking in a rhythmic manner. The cave within the goblin city was calm a quite place where only the quacking and chattering between the cave ducks broke the silence. It was an odd place for most but he found comfort beneath the earth. The glow of the near by crystals cast his dark siloutte onto the damp cavern floor. He found himself staring at his shadow the recent events made him feel unimaginable guilt and a sense of failure. "I am her guardian" his words flowed out slow, a sadness to his tone. He thought that she would lose faith in his abilities to protect her. A soft chuckle came from behind him as he sharply turned staff at the ready " Corp por!" The bolt of energy clashed against the rock wall spraying debris about. The cave ducks went scattering to there holes. A slow clap is heard from where the blast scarred the rock wall a figure dressed in dark purple robes appeared his sharp drow features breaking the cloud of smoke and rock. A face he thought dead long ago Vuradin began shaking his head is disbelief "father". "My son you put on a rather entertaining show the other day" even though barely visible Vuradin could imagine his smirk by the tone of his voice. Vuradin remained silent as his father spoke still in a bit of shock. "You truly are my son, toppling house Tormtor in a matter of hours a task I failed to do in a centuries time". The letter to the rival houses Vuradin sent must have struck the death blow. For word of House Tormtors weakened defense spread like wildfire below. Vuradin dropped to one knee showing respect to his first teacher and perhaps the only one from his youth that cared for him. "Rise my son, we have much work to do, yes much work indeed. With that they walked into the darkness his fathers hand placed caringly apon his shoulder.
